Showcase Cinemas Private Screenings, watch the latest movies or a classic film in your own private auditorium

A Private Screening is the opportunity for your group, party, family or co-workers to see a current release or classic movie in your very own theater auditorium on the date and time of your choice with concessions offered at a group discount. 

Private auditoriums may be available to rent for screenings of personal films.  All independent films must be screened by a Showcase representative prior to booking.  We ask that all films are in DCP format.  All private rentals require further approval.

A Digital Cinema Package (DCP) is a collection of digital files used to store and convey digital cinema (DC) audio, image, and data streams.  This format is required for our digital projectors to ingest custom on-screen content and films.  If your content is not in DCP, you will be required to convert it.

AV is required any time that equipment is plugged into our projector or sound system.  This includes DVD, Blu-ray, PowerPoint, etc.

Discounted concession options for your party or event are available to purchase in advance through your dedicated Group Sales representative.

Our preferred method of payment for Private Rentals and events are Debit/Credit through our convenient online portal. In the event a check is necessary, a Group Sales representative will offer further instruction.

What does sensory sensitive mean? 
We understand and respect that for some people, going to the movies may be a challenge or nearly impossible. The darkness of the auditorium, the loud volume, the need to stay seated and the different immersive formats offered can be overwhelming for guests with sensory sensitivities. To make sure that all of your guests have the opportunity to enjoy the experience of seeing a movie in the cinema with their friends and family, you may book a sensory sensitive theater buyout and we will adjust the movie environment to make all your guest comfortable.

How will this screening be different than a regular movie screening? 
We want your guests to sit back, relax and enjoy the latest movies in a comfortable setting that meets their needs. The volume will be lowered, the lights will be kept on a dim setting throughout the movie, and there will not be any trailers prior to the start of the show. Your guests may get up, move around, and talk during the movie, as well as clap, dance and sing – whatever they need to do to feel comfortable and enjoy the movie-going experience. Fidgets and other sensory-friendly comfort items are also permitted for these screenings.
